Who is the training for?
Osteoporosis is a disease characterized by excessive fragility of the skeleton, due to a reduction in bone mass and alteration of bone micro-architecture. It is a common pathology in women after menopause because bone mass decreases with age and with the deficiency of female hormones (estrogens). It affects men less often than women and exceptionally children. This is a significant risk factor for bone fractures. Mini-fractures often form on the upper anterior plane of the spine without even being noticed. There are postural changes: the affected individuals stand hunched, the shoulders fall forward and the upper back is rounded.
